Peter J. Carman is a solo practitioner and civil litigator dedicated to representing injured individuals in personal injury and workers’ compensation matters for applicants and employees. With an extensive background in insurance defense involving general liability and workers’ compensation claims, he understands how insurance carriers evaluate and defend cases. He uses that insight to build strong claims that achieve meaningful results for his clients.
Peter earned his B.A. in 1995 from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, Wisconsin, graduating with High Honors and majoring in Political Science and History. He later received his J.D. in 2001 from the Columbus School of Law of the Catholic University of America, Washington, District of Columbia. He was admitted to practice in Wisconsin in 2001, as well as in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin in 2001, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin in 2001, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit in 2001.
Peter represents clients who have suffered serious injuries and employees seeking workers’ compensation benefits. He has first chair trial and hearing experience and is known for his strong oral and written advocacy. He focuses on careful preparation and close attention to detail, helping clients feel confident that their cases are handled thoroughly.
