About
Pete Kestner is a Minnesota truck accident attorney who represents injured clients and families in commercial motor vehicle cases. His practice focuses on truck accident litigation, insurance-related issues, and claims involving serious crashes. He brings experience from both private practice and work representing trucking insurers, giving him practical insight into how trucking claims are investigated, defended, and resolved.
Kestner earned a B.S. from Skidmore College in 1989. He received a J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law in 2001. His education supports a practice built on legal analysis, advocacy, case preparation, and practical insurance understanding. That background helps him evaluate truck accident claims, review liability issues, address insurance coverage concerns, and explain complex litigation questions in clear terms for clients facing serious injury or loss.
Kestner has litigated truck accident cases in 24 states in both state and federal courts. His experience includes appearing pro hac vice in trucking matters across many jurisdictions, including Colorado, Kentucky, Wyoming, New York, Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin, South Carolina, North Carolina, Nevada, North Dakota, Utah, Texas, South Dakota, Mississippi, Nebraska, Missouri, Louisiana, Florida, and Ohio. He helps clients and referring counsel address complex trucking cases involving multiple parties, regulations, insurers, and liability theories.

He also serves on that group’s Amicus Committee and holds the Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter designation.
