About

Paul Musselwhite has practiced law in Kentucky since 1982, bringing clients steady guidance built on legal knowledge, financial insight, and public service. His work at Musselwhite Staples Hafley & Johnson includes Chapter 7 bankruptcy, Chapter 13 bankruptcy, Social Security Disability, estates, probate, criminal defense, mediation, and personal injury matters. He helps clients understand their options during stressful legal problems and gives them practical direction. His background in lending and court service allows him to view each case with care, judgment, and a focus on useful solutions.

Mr. Musselwhite earned a B.S. from Indiana University, where he studied Finance and Economics. He later earned a J.D. from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law. This education gave him a strong base in business, money matters, and legal reasoning. He applies that training when advising clients about debt relief, estates, probate issues, mediation, and other serious concerns. His ability to explain complex issues in clear terms helps clients make informed choices about their next steps with greater confidence.

Mr. Musselwhite entered private practice after serving in the United States Air Force and working with financial corporations and banks. He rose to Senior Vice President for Lending at Citizens Bank of Elizabethtown, gaining experience that supports his bankruptcy and financial law practice. He also served the Hardin Circuit Court as a Domestic Relations Commissioner and as Master Commissioner for Hardin County. These roles strengthened his understanding of court procedures, creditor issues, property matters, and fair dispute resolution in complex legal cases.

Paul Musselwhite helps clients by listening closely, identifying the legal issues, and creating a clear path forward. In bankruptcy matters, he helps people seek relief from overwhelming debt. In probate and estate matters, he supports clients through important decisions and required court steps. In disability, injury, criminal defense, and mediation matters, he works to protect rights and improve outcomes. He combines decades of experience with a practical approach, helping clients move through the legal process with confidence, dignity, and respect.
