Paul J. Toland has been a committed legal advocate in Massachusetts since 2012, focusing his practice on immigration and criminal defense law. Paul earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Rochester before obtaining his Juris Doctor degree from the Massachusetts School of Law in 2012. He passed the Massachusetts Bar Exam the same year and is admitted to practice in both Massachusetts state and federal courts.

Paul began his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in Worcester, where he conducted over 100 trials and built a solid foundation in criminal litigation. Transitioning to private practice, Paul continued to sharpen his advocacy, now representing clients in both immigration matters and criminal defense across the District and Superior Courts.

Through his work, Paul J. Toland, Esq. has successfully vacated numerous criminal convictions, helping non-citizen clients avoid deportation and obtain lawful immigration status in the United States. He also represents clients at U.S. consulates abroad, before USCIS, and before the Board of Immigration Appeals, providing comprehensive immigration law services.
