Paul J. Avery is a member at Bond, Schoeneck & King PLLC and practices from the firm’s Buffalo and Syracuse offices. He also reviews and negotiates employment, noncompetition, shareholder, independent contractor, supply, sponsorship, software license, SaaS, franchise, distribution, and development agreements. For higher education clients, his experience includes Title IX and NCAA compliance, sports camps, vendor and facilities contracts, institutional governance, and compliance matters involving the Clery Act, FERPA, HEOA, and NYPMIFA.
Paul J. Avery has been listed as an Upstate New York Rising Star in Business/Corporate by New York Super Lawyers for 2015 and 2016. He belongs to the New York State Bar Association, Onondaga County Bar Association, and National Association of College and University Attorneys. He has also served on the NACUANOTES Editorial Board Committee and as a board member and secretary of InfoTech WNY.
