Patrick M. Kelly, Esq. is a respected and experienced trial lawyer with a long and successful career in law. He now offers his services for mediations, arbitrations, and discovery reference. Mr. Kelly holds a B.A. from Pomona College in Claremont, California. He earned his J.D. from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, California. He also completed two respected mediation training programs: a 40-hour Mediation Training Program from the Los Angeles County Bar Association and a 40-hour “Mediating the Litigated Case” program from the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution.

Throughout his legal career, Mr. Kelly worked for nearly four decades at Wilson Elser Moskowitz Edelman & Dicker LLP, an international litigation firm. He served as a partner, senior counsel, regional managing partner, and director of litigation. He advised insurance carriers and defended clients in high-stakes legal matters. He has a strong background in insurance law, including bad faith and class action cases involving liability for directors and officers (D&O), product issues, and employment disputes. He also served as general counsel to a ski resort company.

Beyond his practice, Patrick M. Kelly has been active in professional organizations and leadership roles. He served as president of both the State Bar of California and the Los Angeles County Bar Association. He also contributed to the California Judicial Council and served on the Commission on Judicial Performance.

Mr. Kelly has supported community causes through board service with the Legal Aid Foundation, Constitutional Rights Foundation, and Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority. With a record of service, leadership, and legal excellence, Mr. Kelly continues to help resolve legal disputes with fairness and skill.
