Jonathan Mills

Jonathan Mills is a committed attorney representing clients across Central Florida. Over the course of his career, he has handled a broad spectrum of cases, consistently working to safeguard his clients’ rights and interests. Drawing on extensive experience in both criminal and civil law, Jonathan combines practical insight, strong advocacy skills, and a client-focused, results-oriented approach to deliver thoughtful guidance and effective representation in every case.

Jonathan earned his B.S. in Legal Studies from the University of Central Florida. He then went on to complete his J.D. at Florida International University College of Law, where he graduated with honors. While in law school, he gained real-world experience through clinical externships with the Public Defender’s Office, the State Attorney’s Office, and the Department of Children & Families.

Jonathan began his legal career as a state prosecutor in the Ninth Judicial Circuit of Florida. In that role, he handled a wide range of criminal cases and gained valuable trial experience. He successfully prosecuted cases involving DUI, domestic violence, sex crimes, drug offenses, battery on law enforcement officers, carjacking, and child abuse. His time in the domestic violence and sex crimes units helped him build a deep understanding of sensitive and serious matters in the criminal justice system.

After working as a prosecutor, Jonathan joined a respected civil law firm where he defended large insurance companies. He handled claims involving auto accidents, slips and falls, dog bites, product liability, and more. He also gained experience in first-party property insurance claims. This broad background helps him understand both sides of a legal case.

Now, in private practice, Jonathan Mills uses his experience to serve individuals and families in criminal defense, personal injury, and family law cases. He knows that each case is unique and deserves full attention. With a strong commitment to justice, Jonathan works hard to guide his clients through difficult legal situations and achieve the best possible results.
