Patrick C. Gallagher is an attorney whose practice centers on personal injury, employment discrimination, and civil rights matters. Pat earned a B.A. in Economics from Elon University in 2002, graduating magna cum laude. He then received his Juris Doctor from Wake Forest University in 2005, graduating cum laude. During law school, he participated in mock trials, Moot Court, and Law Review. These experiences helped develop the research, writing, and courtroom skills that have remained important throughout his legal career.
Pat began practicing law in West Virginia after graduation, where he worked on defense matters involving consumer finance disputes, deliberate intent claims, and Mine Safety Health Administration cases. After relocating to Delaware in 2008, he gained experience in corporate litigation before the Delaware Court of Chancery. His practice later expanded to include personal injury, family law, criminal defense, estate administration and probate, bankruptcy, real estate litigation, landlord and tenant disputes, civil rights matters, employment law, and legal issues affecting small businesses.
Pat has handled cases in courts across Delaware, including appearances before the Delaware Supreme Court and the Federal District Court for the District of Delaware. His representative matters include cases involving medical privacy, employment disputes, personal injury claims, family law issues, and civil rights litigation. Through these efforts, he has helped clients protect their rights, challenge unfavorable rulings, and pursue meaningful legal remedies.
