Tyler W. Benting

Tyler W. Benting is a New Mexico attorney whose practice includes estate planning, probate, real estate matters, business law, and civil litigation. He works with individuals, families, and businesses on legal matters that require practical guidance and careful attention. His experience includes advising clients through transactions, planning matters, and disputes across several areas of law.

Tyler earned his BA in government from New Mexico State University, where he was a Crimson Scholar. He later received his Juris Doctor from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2013. Tyler also earned his master’s degree in personal financial planning from Texas Tech. His educational background supports his work in estate planning, business matters, and property-related legal issues.

Tyler focuses much of his practice on wills, trusts, probate administration, and real estate transactions. He has also represented clients in business matters and general civil litigation. Over the course of his career, he has advised clients in transactions totaling more than $25,000,000. His work often involves helping clients understand complex legal issues while protecting their financial and personal interests.

Tyler was admitted to the New Mexico Bar in 2013 and has continued building a practice centered on client service and long-term planning. In recognition of his legal work, he received the “2020 Contract Attorney Child Welfare and Juvenile Justice Excellence Award” at the New Mexico Children’s Law Institute. He was also selected as a Rising Star in 2020 – 2023, a SuperLawyers publication.
