Orlando Garcia developed his passion for justice early in life, growing up surrounded by the practice of law. His journey into the legal profession was shaped by years of diverse work experiences, from real estate to hospitality, giving him a grounded perspective on the real-world challenges his clients face. Today, he represents individuals and families across Texas in personal injury matters, from car crashes to catastrophic injury cases.
Orlando began his academic path at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in General Studies. He later attended St. Mary’s University School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor, graduating magna cum laude and ranking among the top five percent of his class. During his studies, he was named to the Dean’s List multiple times and was inducted into Phi Delta Phi, a distinguished international legal honors society that recognizes exceptional scholarly performance.
Orlando distinguished himself through remarkable achievements in trial advocacy during law school. He served as a staff writer for the St. Mary’s Law Journal and earned numerous accolades for his advocacy skills. Among his notable accomplishments, he won the Renna and Jeff Embry Mock Trial Tournament in his second year and later secured victory at the William Daniel National Mock Trial Tournament. In that national competition, he was selected as Best Advocate in every round and maintained an undefeated record throughout his mock trial career—an exceptional testament to his command in courtroom advocacy.
