Licensed to practice in Texas since the same year, he is admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Northern Districts of Texas. His board certification in Criminal Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, achieved in 1991, reflects his advanced knowledge and expertise in the field.
