Omar Serrato

Omar Serrato is the Managing Attorney and Founder of Serrato Law and Associates, a law firm built on the principles of passion, experience, and diligence. He is a highly skilled litigator with extensive courtroom experience and a strong commitment to protecting his clients’ rights. Over the past four years, Omar has made more than 1,500 court appearances, advocating for individuals in a wide range of cases, including criminal, civil, family, and immigration matters, across California. His goal has always been to ensure that every client receives competent, trial-ready representation when facing serious legal challenges.

Omar earned his J.D. from the University of La Verne College of Law, where he was an active member of the Public Interest Law Foundation and Criminal Law Society. He also holds a B.A. in Business Administration from DeVry University. During law school, he interned with the San Bernardino District Attorney’s Office as a bar-certified clerk, gaining early courtroom experience through motion arguments and preliminary hearings. He was also in the Trial Team that placed third in the ABA Labor Law Mock Trial Competition in 2012.

Omar served as an attorney at a mid-sized law firm in Claremont, where he led the Criminal Defense, Family Law, and Civil Litigation departments before founding Serrato Law and Associates. He represented clients in a wide range of matters, including DUI, domestic violence, fraud, defamation, and complex real estate disputes. His ability to manage both criminal and civil trials reflects his versatility and dedication to client advocacy.

Omar Serrato is admitted to practice in California and is an active member of the San Bernardino County Bar Association and the American Association for Justice. Through his firm, he continues to provide strong, trial-focused representation that upholds fairness and defends the rights of individuals across the state.
