Obi Ikeme

Obi Ikeme is the founding attorney of Ikeme Law, LLC in Katy, Texas, where she helps families and entrepreneurs navigate complex immigration matters with confidence and clarity. With over a decade of legal experience, she provides comprehensive support in family-based immigration, naturalization, asylum, and removal defense.

Obi earned her Juris Doctor from the University of New Hampshire School of Law, where she participated in the Immigration Law Clinic, working on real cases involving asylum, family reunification, and naturalization. She also completed a legal externship with the U.S. Department of Justice Office on Violence Against Women, gaining valuable experience in legislative advocacy and policy.

Following graduation, Obi served as a Judicial Law Clerk in New Jersey’s Family Division, where she worked on Special Immigrant Juvenile (SIJ) cases and developed a deep understanding of humanitarian immigration pathways. She was later selected as a Presidential Management Fellow and held key roles at the Department of Homeland Security and other federal agencies.

Obi founded Ikeme Law to offer not just legal representation, but a strategic partnership. Her practice supports immigrants and founders with customized legal solutions, combining legal precision with business insight. She is licensed in New Jersey and has been practicing since 2013.
