Nina Qureshi

Nina Qureshi, Esq., is a highly skilled immigration lawyer and the founder of Qureshi Law Firm, based in Wilmington, Delaware. With extensive experience in guiding clients through complex immigration matters, she has built a reputation for providing effective legal solutions.

Nina earned a B.A. in International Relations from the University of Delaware in 1999. She also holds a B.A. in Spanish from the same institution. Additionally, she completed a minor in Economics during her undergraduate studies. In 2005, Nina earned her J.D. from Widener University School of Law.

While in law school, she gained hands-on experience in immigration law by working at a Philadelphia-based immigration firm. She also interned at the Community Legal Aid Society in Wilmington, where she assisted asylum seekers with applications and interviews.

Nina began her career managing a multi-million-dollar corporate portfolio in the banking industry. She later transitioned into immigration law, where her passion for helping others flourished. Before establishing Qureshi Law Firm, she worked at a private immigration firm in Wilmington, representing clients in a wide range of cases, including family-based immigration, employment-based immigration, asylum, citizenship, and deportation defense.

Nina Qureshi’s expertise lies in employment-based immigration, where she has successfully obtained J-1 waivers, H-1B visas, and National Interest Waivers for foreign medical graduates and other professionals. She also has significant experience with PERM and employment-based immigrant petitions. Nina regularly conducts seminars to educate attorneys on immigration compliance and law.

Nina is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. She is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and federal immigration courts across the U.S. She is also admitted to the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. Fluent in Spanish, she volunteers at the Latin American Community Center in Wilmington, providing critical support to the immigrant community.
