Nigel Scott

Nigel S. Scott is the principal attorney of Aegis Law, LLC in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Nigel began his legal training with the Delaware County Office of the Public Defender, representing low-income individuals facing criminal charges. He later served as a prosecutor with the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office, where he tried misdemeanors and minor felony cases. Nigel also served for 13 years as a court-appointed arbitrator for Pennsylvania’s First Judicial District. These roles provided experience evaluating evidence, presenting arguments, resolving disputes, and understanding the perspectives of parties on different sides of litigation.

Nigel S. Scott is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and the District of Columbia, as well as before several federal courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. His commitment to public service has also been recognized through his inclusion on Philadelphia and District of Columbia pro bono honor rolls for 13 years.
