Nicole Andreson

Nicole Andreson is Chair of the Litigation Group at Dinse in Burlington, Vermont. She focuses on professional malpractice defense, personal injury defense, and professional licensing and disciplinary actions. Her work includes defending hospitals and physicians in state and federal malpractice cases, representing institutions in catastrophic injury and sexual assault matters, and assisting health care professionals before licensing and disciplinary boards.

Nicole earned a J.D., cum laude, from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and a B.S., magna cum laude, from St. Lawrence University. She was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and was later inducted into St. Lawrence University’s Athletic Hall of Fame for tennis. Her academic training supports a litigation practice that requires careful analysis, preparation, and judgment in complex civil matters.

Nicole previously served as an Assistant Attorney General for the Vermont Attorney General’s Office and as a sex crimes prosecutor for the Chittenden County State’s Attorneys’ Office. Over more than 25 years of practice, she has tried numerous civil and criminal cases to verdict. That courtroom background informs her work defending professionals, institutions, and organizations when disputes carry significant legal and practical consequences.

Nicole Andreson is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and an elected member of the American Law Institute.
