Nicholas C. Romer

Originally from Lansing, Michigan, Nick moved to West Michigan in 2004 to attend Grand Valley State University, where he played football for the Grand Valley Lakers and was part of the 2005 National Championship Team. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a Minor in Business, laying the foundation for his legal career.

Nick earned his Juris Doctor, graduating cum laude from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Grand Rapids, Michigan, in 2013. While in law school, he built a strong foundation in legal research, writing, and advocacy as Senior Associate Editor of the Thomas M. Before joining McDonald Pierangeli Macfarlane, PLLC, Nick worked as an associate attorney at Jensen, DeHaan & Symko, P.C., where he specialized in Social Security Disability claims before the Social Security Administration and U.S. District Courts.
