Nicholas Boca

Nicholas Boca is a Board-Certified Family Law Specialist by the State Bar of Arizona. He helps clients navigate divorce, legal separation, child custody, child support, parenting time, and spousal maintenance. His work also covers agreements, relocation, modifications, and enforcement of orders. He represents business owners, athletes, and high-net-worth individuals in cases involving privacy concerns, complex finances, commingled assets, and marital estates.

Nicholas earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Arizona State University in 2009. He earned a Juris Doctorate from the University of San Diego in 2013. He was admitted to the Arizona bar in 2013 and the United States District Court in 2014. His memberships include the State Bar of Arizona, Maricopa County Bar Association, and American Bar Association, Family Law Section.

Nicholas began his legal career as an Assistant Attorney General representing the Department of Child Safety. That role involved hundreds of juvenile court hearings and mediations. It also built his trial skills and understanding of how courts assess family matters. When needed, he works with forensic accountants, CPAs, psychologists, child development specialists, handwriting experts, and fraud examiners to address financial, custody, or evidence issues.

Nicholas has held leadership and committee roles related to family and juvenile law. These include Chair of the Maricopa County Bar Association Family Law Section and Chair of the State Bar of Arizona Juvenile Law Section Executive Council. He has also served as a Judge Pro Tempore, taught Continuing Legal Education programs, moderated judicial panels, and written articles on legal practice. His community service includes work with Skate After School, JJ’s Scholarship Fund, and Court Appointed Special Advocate.

Nicholas Boca has been recognized as Best Lawyers in America since 2021, received the James Waite Mahoney Award for meritorious service to the Arizona Juvenile Law Section, and was named Top 100 Lawyers in Arizona in 2019, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025.
