Neil R. Lebowitz is the proprietor of Lebowitz Law Firm in Columbia, Maryland, and currently serves as president of the Maryland Employment Lawyers Association. Neil earned a Bachelor of Arts in history from the University of Maryland at College Park in 1992, graduating magna cum laude and as a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He later received his Juris Doctor degree with honors from the University of Maryland School of Law in 1996.
Neil’s practice concentrates on employment law and personal injury litigation. He handles discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage disputes, and whistleblower claims, as well as automobile accidents, premises liability, and other tort matters, representing clients in both the public and private sectors across a wide range of industries.
Neil began his legal career as a judicial law clerk for Judge Steven G. Chappelle in the Circuit Court for Charles County. He later practiced as a litigation associate at firms in Baltimore and Silver Spring before establishing his own practice in 2004, which later evolved into Lebowitz Law Firm.
