Laura Clymer

Laura Clymer is an attorney and the owner of Clymer Legal PLLC, a Tucson-based law firm that represents injured workers and disabled individuals throughout Arizona. Her practice focuses on Arizona workers’ compensation and Social Security Disability matters, guiding clients through complex administrative and legal systems to obtain the benefits they are entitled to receive.

Laura earned her Juris Doctor from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University in 2013. She was one of only eleven students in her graduating class to receive the Dean’s Award for Outstanding Contributions and Performance. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Communication, cum laude, from DePauw University.

Laura is certified by the State Bar of Arizona as a Workers’ Compensation Legal Specialist, a distinction reflecting advanced expertise and demonstrated excellence in this highly technical field. She also serves on the executive board of the Arizona Association of Lawyers for Injured Workers, an organization committed to protecting and advancing the rights of injured workers statewide.

Laura legal work includes representing clients at all stages of workers’ compensation claims, from initial filings through hearings and appeals before the Industrial Commission of Arizona. She also assists individuals pursuing Social Security Disability benefits, offering comprehensive representation from application through appellate review.

Laura has handled significant appellate matters before the Arizona Court of Appeals and the Arizona Supreme Court, contributing to the development of Arizona workers’ compensation law. In addition to practicing law full-time, she serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Arizona, teaching legal analysis, writing, and research.
