Neil Magner is an attorney whose practice focuses on family law, including divorce, legal separation, child custody, child support, paternity, post-judgment modifications, property division, elder law, and guardianship. As a partner at Magner & Hueneke, LLP, he represents clients throughout southeastern Wisconsin in circuit courts across Milwaukee, Waukesha, Racine, Kenosha, Ozaukee, Walworth, and Washington counties. His practice includes both negotiated settlements and contested litigation involving a wide range of family law matters.

Neil earned his Juris Doctor from Marquette University Law School after receiving a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse. He has been recognized for excellence in Advanced Legal Research in Wisconsin law by the Center for Computer-Assisted Legal Instruction. He is admitted to practice in Wisconsin and the US District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin. He also earned a Certificate in Family Mediation from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee and is a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA), strengthening his ability to address the financial aspects of family law cases.

Neil represents clients in divorce proceedings involving complex financial issues, including closely held businesses, professional practices, executive compensation, retirement accounts, real estate, and valuation disputes. He also assists clients with child custody and placement, child support, paternity actions, equitable property division, post-judgment modifications, elder law, and guardianship matters. His background in financial analysis allows him to help clients evaluate tax consequences, cash flow, and long-term financial considerations when resolving family law disputes.

Neil Magner is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and the Milwaukee Bar Association, including its Family Law Section and Society of Family Lawyers. He has been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star, received Lead Counsel recognition in Family Law, earned a Superb Avvo rating, and has provided pro bono family law representation through the Volunteer Lawyers Project.
