Neil M. Batavia is a highly experienced intellectual property attorney with nearly two decades of focused practice in patent portfolio strategy, client counseling, and opinion work. Neil earned a B.S. in Biochemistry with a minor in Computer Science from Clemson University in 2000. He completed his J.D. at the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2003. During law school, he served as Editor of the South Carolina Law Review and President of the Intellectual Property Law Society.
Neil leads work in electrical and computer science subject matter, including computer vision, autonomous robotics, and data compression. His technical foundation and legal knowledge allow him to guide companies in AI/ML, wearable tech, and digital health with practical and innovative IP solutions.
