Nathaniel J. Krautkramer

Nathaniel J. Krautkramer has practiced law in Wausau, Wisconsin, for more than 17 years, helping individuals, families, and businesses address a wide range of legal and financial matters. His practice includes business formation and transactions, tax planning, tax audit representation, settlement of tax liabilities, estate planning, probate administration, real estate transactions, and creditor-related matters. Nathan received a B.A. with honors in Political Science and Behavioral Science & Law from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1999. He earned his J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 2002. He then completed an LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Washington School of Law in 2003. Expanding his financial and business knowledge, he later earned an MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 2014.

Nathan has developed substantial experience in tax-related matters, including tax planning, audits, litigation, and debt resolution. He also advises clients on business transactions and organizational matters while assisting families with wills, trusts, probate proceedings, and real estate transfers. His work regularly involves helping clients address legal challenges with careful planning and practical solutions tailored to their circumstances.

Nathan is admitted to practice before the Wisconsin Supreme Court, the U.S. District Court, Western District of Wisconsin, the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Wisconsin, and the United States Tax Court. He is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and the Marathon County Bar Association. In addition to his legal practice, he has shared his knowledge through continuing legal education presentations on tax issues, bankruptcy-related tax matters, and LLC taxation.

Nathaniel J. Krautkramer has remained active in both the legal profession and community service efforts. He has volunteered as an attorney for Wills for Veterans clinics and has participated in organizations including the Knights of Columbus, Wausau Noon Optimists, and Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin community initiatives.
