About
Natasha Staton is a founding partner of Staton Silber, P.S., a Washington law firm focused on workers’ compensation and industrial insurance matters. She has spent more than 30 years advocating for injured and disabled workers seeking benefits through the state system. She also serves as Director of Special Projects at the firm and remains available for consultations. Her practice concerns claims in which a workplace injury or occupational condition affects a person’s ability to work and receive support.
Natasha earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Washington in 1990 and a Juris Doctorate from Seattle University School of Law in 1993. She has been licensed to practice law in Washington since 1993. Her legal education and long involvement in workers’ compensation matters provide a foundation for interpreting benefit rules, reviewing medical and wage evidence, and addressing disputes with the Washington Department of Labor and Industries.
Natasha’s work involves helping injured workers pursue wage replacement, disability benefits, appropriate medical treatment, and other relief under Washington’s industrial insurance system. Her firm’s representative matters include disputed time-loss compensation, disability pensions, treatment authorization, vocational retraining, and overpayment assessments. These cases can require careful review of medical conditions, work restrictions, earnings records, and agency decisions. Her extensive experience informs the handling of complicated benefits questions and discussions about available claim resolutions.
Natasha Staton is an Eagle Member of the Washington State Association for Justice and belongs to the Workers’ Injury Law and Advocacy Group. She contributed a chapter on case planning to the 2009 workers’ compensation deskbook published by the Washington trial lawyers association. Her long career is focused on the legal and financial needs of people recovering from workplace injuries. She combines advocacy in disputed claims with professional leadership and consultation on challenging workers’ compensation issues.
