Jason F. Zellman

Jason F. Zellman is the member and president of Surovell Isaacs & Levy, PLC, in Fairfax, Virginia. His practice focuses on employment law and commercial litigation, including discrimination, sexual harassment, severance negotiations, noncompetition agreements, and business disputes. He also handles civil claims involving contracts, consumers, landlords and tenants, and homeowners’ associations. He represents clients confronting workplace or commercial conflicts and evaluates options for litigation and settlement.

Jason earned a B.A. in Government, cum laude, from the College of William and Mary and a J.D. from its Marshall-Wythe School of Law in 2008. After law school, he clerked for Judge Gaylord L. Finch Jr. of the Fairfax County Circuit Court. His undergraduate education, legal training, and court experience support his work reviewing legal claims, researching disputed questions, and preparing arguments for trial and appellate courts.

Jason has practiced law since 2008, joined his firm in 2009, became a partner in 2017, and managing partner in 2020. He has secured a $125,000 settlement in an age discrimination case, a six-figure settlement in a sexual harassment case, and a six-figure judgment in a malicious prosecution and abuse of process matter. He has also obtained a defense jury verdict in a breach of contract case. His practice extends to appeals and litigation involving commercial obligations.
