Nancy Baum Delain

Nancy Baum Delain, Esq., is a seasoned attorney admitted to practice in multiple federal and state courts, concentrating her work in intellectual property, business law, and Chapter 7 bankruptcy. She applies her broad technical and legal background to help clients secure rights, solve problems, and move forward with confidence in complex legal situations.

Nancy completed her academic journey, beginning with an A.B. in Biological Sciences from Smith College, followed by an M.S. in Technical Writing from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She later earned her J.D. from Franklin Pierce Law Center, graduating in the top 20% of her class. She graduated in the top 20% of her class while balancing family responsibilities.

Nancy also brings more than two decades of experience as a technical documentation specialist with organizations such as 3M, Rational Software, General Electric Company, and others. This foundation strengthens her ability to analyze inventions, draft precise applications, and support businesses in developing clear and effective legal documentation.

Nancy handles a wide range of intellectual property matters, including patentability assessments, patent drafting, U.S. and international prosecution, trademark work, copyright, and trade secret concerns.
