Myers Dill

Myers Dill is the Office Managing Partner of Husch Blackwell’s St. Louis office and an intellectual property lawyer who helps clients build competitive advantage through patent strategy and technology agreements. He works with in-house legal teams, business leaders, startups, and established companies on patent portfolio management, licensing, technology contracts, and related business needs. His approach connects intellectual property decisions with broader operational, financing, and growth objectives.

Myers earned a J.D., cum laude, from the University of Illinois College of Law, an M.A. in Teaching from Marian University, and a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis. His technical and legal education supports work involving complex inventions, life sciences, manufacturing, technology, and emerging companies. The combination helps him translate technical information into practical legal strategies for business decision-makers.

Myers manages patent prosecution portfolios for consumer-products companies and advises startups on intellectual property and corporate growth issues. His experience includes guiding a medical research team through an LLC-to-corporation conversion and financing process, assisting a hydrogen technology company with a two-stage financing that secured significant international investment, and drafting or negotiating technology and software agreements for public and private companies.

Myers Dill was recognized by The Legal 500 as Missouri Elite for Intellectual Property in 2026 and previously appeared in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch for Intellectual Property Law and Litigation – Patent. He was named to the St. Louis Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 class in 2025. Admitted in Missouri and before the US Patent and Trademark Office, he combines technical training, leadership, and business-focused IP counseling.
