Monty L. Cain

Monty L. Cain is the founder and managing attorney of Cain Law, serving clients from offices in Tulsa and Oklahoma City. With more than 29 years of experience, he concentrates on personal injury matters such as truck and semi accidents, traumatic brain injuries, car crashes, and product liability claims. He is known both statewide and nationally for handling complex injury cases with skill and focus.

Mr. Cain earned his B.S. in Petroleum Land Management from the University of Oklahoma. He received his J.D. from Oklahoma City University School of Law, where he earned the prestigious Am Jur Award and became a member of the Phi Delta Phi law fraternity. He is admitted to practice in all Oklahoma state courts, as well as in the U.S. District Courts for the Western, Eastern, and Northern Districts of Oklahoma and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit.

Mr. Cain has recovered over $100 million in client verdicts and settlements. One of his most impactful victories was in the appellate case Fox v. Mize and Van Eaton Ready Mix, which established an important legal precedent in holding commercial motor carriers accountable for negligent entrustment of unsafe drivers. This case has improved road safety in Oklahoma and enhanced justice for trucking accident victims.

In addition to personal injury, Cain Law also handles cases in bankruptcy, Social Security Disability, probate, family law, and criminal defense. Mr. Cain is known for offering personalized, hands-on legal representation and for his fierce advocacy for the injured.

Mr. Cain is a member of several respected legal organizations, including the Oklahoma Association for Justice, the American Association for Justice, the Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys, and the National Trial Lawyers. He frequently lectures on trucking and brain injury litigation at Continuing Legal Education (CLE) events.
