About
Monte E. Frank is co-chair of Pullman & Comley’s Litigation practice, representing businesses and municipalities in Connecticut and beyond. With three decades of experience, he advises clients in complex business litigation, construction disputes, mediation, arbitration, and administrative proceedings. His focus is on resolving matters efficiently while safeguarding client interests.
Monte earned his Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, from Cornell University in 1990, followed by his Juris Doctor from Cornell Law School in 1993. Monte’s academic achievements provided a strong foundation for his distinguished career, combining legal acumen with leadership in public service and policy advocacy.
In addition to his litigation work, Monte is nationally recognized for his efforts on democracy reform and gun violence prevention. Appointed by the president of the American Bar Association, he serves on the Advisory Commission to the Task Force for American Democracy and chairs the ABA’s Committee on Gun Violence. He has authored numerous op-eds, presented resolutions before the ABA House of Delegates, and collaborated with lawmakers on issues of public safety and election reform.
Monte is also a past president of the Connecticut Bar Association and the New England Bar Association, and he continues to serve as Connecticut’s delegate to the ABA House of Delegates. His professional honors include recognition in Best Lawyers in America, Super Lawyers, and Chambers USA, as well as Benchmark Litigation’s designation as a “Litigation Star.” He has also been honored for pro bono service to families impacted by tragedies such as Sandy Hook and 9/11.
Beyond the courtroom, Monte E. Frank is an accomplished cyclist, representing the United States at the World Maccabiah Games, where he earned six medals. Through his legal practice, advocacy, and community leadership, Monte exemplifies dedication to justice, reform, and service.
