Moez M. Kaba is the managing partner of Hueston Hennigan LLP and one of the most respected trial lawyers in the United States. Recognized for his courtroom excellence and strategic advocacy, Mr. Kaba represents Fortune 500 companies, high-profile individuals, and innovative businesses in complex civil litigation across the country. Mr. Kaba earned his J.D. from Columbia Law School and a B.S. in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University, where he graduated with highest honors and served as Class Marshal. He clerked for Hon. Raymond C. Fisher of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He is admitted to practice in both California and New York.
Throughout his career, Moez M. Kaba has led winning trial teams in some of the nation’s most closely watched litigation. He secured a complete defense verdict for Disney in a copyright trial over “Moana,” won a record $293 million verdict for Monster Energy in a Lanham Act dispute, and obtained landmark victories for clients such as Amazon, Endo Pharmaceuticals, and McDonald’s. His appellate record is equally impressive, with major wins in the Ninth and Second Circuits involving issues of Section 230 immunity and intellectual property law.
Beyond his commercial practice, Mr. Kaba is deeply committed to pro bono work, focusing on access to justice, immigrant rights, marriage equality, and First Amendment protections. He serves on several nonprofit boards and remains active in causes that advance social equity through legal advocacy.
