Mitri earned his J.D. from Birmingham School of Law in 2020. His legal education supports his work as an attorney and firm leader. It also helps him contribute to business development, firm growth, and leadership matters that require sound judgment, clear planning, and a strong understanding of legal operations.

Mitri has worked full-time for Alexander Shunnarah Trial Attorneys since graduating from high school. He has supported the firm in many roles and functions since 2009. This long history with the firm gives him deep knowledge of its operations, growth goals, leadership needs, and community involvement efforts.

Mitri helps manage business development and firm growth for Alexander Shunnarah Trial Attorneys. His forward-thinking strategy and vision helped drive major nationwide growth. The firm opened seven new offices and formed multiple partnerships in 2020, 2021, and 2022 under his leadership and support.

Mitri continuously identifies and explores new opportunities to increase the firm’s growth and reach. He also supports and leads the local Birmingham team. His work includes helping guide firm happenings, business decisions, community involvement initiatives, and ongoing efforts that strengthen the firm’s presence in Alabama and beyond.

Mitri S. Shatara is a member of the Alabama State Bar and has been admitted since 2021.
