Ms. Baker’s educational journey reflects her dedication to learning and excellence in the legal field. She earned a B.A. in International Relations and French Language from Michigan State University’s James Madison College in 2008. She later pursued a Master of Arts in Near Eastern Languages from Wayne State University in 2011 before obtaining her J.D. from Michigan State University College of Law in 2016.

During law school, Ms. Baker built extensive, hands-on legal experience across multiple practice areas. She interned with the Michigan Department of Attorney General in the Civil Litigation, Employment, and Elections Division, supporting state-level litigation and regulatory matters. She also served as a Student Tax Clinician at the MSU Alvin L. Storrs Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic, where she helped clients resolve complex federal and state tax issues. In addition, Ms. Baker contributed to the Journal of Animal and Natural Resource Law, strengthening her research, writing, and advocacy skills in environmental and animal law.

Before joining Mike Morse Injury Law Firm, Ms. Baker represented insurance companies and defended cases involving no-fault claims, slip and fall injuries, and dog bites. Her experience on the defense side of litigation gives her unique insight into the strategies used by insurance companies, allowing her to fight effectively for her client’s rights.
