About
Michael V. Sacchetto is a founding attorney at Hanning & Sacchetto, LLP in Whittier, California, where he represents clients in personal injury and related matters. His practice includes car, truck, motorcycle, and bicycle accidents, brain injuries, dog bites, slip and fall claims, workers’ compensation, and employment law. Sacchetto helps injured clients evaluate liability, insurance coverage, damages, and available legal remedies after accidents or workplace injuries.
Sacchetto earned a B.S. in Business Administration summa cum laude from the University of La Verne and a J.D. magna cum laude from Southwestern Law School. At Southwestern, he served on the Law Review and Moot Court Team and received CALI awards in legal writing and employment law. He also completed a full-time judicial externship with Senior U.S. Circuit Judge Arthur L. Alarcon of the Ninth Circuit.
Before founding the firm, Sacchetto practiced at a medical malpractice defense firm, representing healthcare professionals in malpractice litigation. That experience gave him insight into defense strategies, medical evidence, professional liability, and case evaluation. He now applies that perspective when representing injured plaintiffs in accident and negligence claims. His published legal scholarship includes a Southwestern Law Review comment addressing buyer power and legal remedies in the automotive repair industry.
Michael V. Sacchetto is a member of the State Bar of California and is licensed to practice in all California courts. He has also received professional recognition from Super Lawyers, including selection with his firm partner in 2018. Sacchetto combines prior defense experience, academic achievement, judicial exposure, and plaintiff-side advocacy to help clients navigate serious injury, workers’ compensation, and related civil matters.
