Michael Moebes

Michael Moebes is the founding partner of Moebes Law LLC in Atlanta and represents injured individuals in workers’ compensation and personal injury matters. His work includes workplace injuries and personal injury claims involving cars, motorcycles, medical malpractice, and wrongful death. He draws on prior experience representing employers and insurers to understand how carriers evaluate injury claims, validity, and financial exposure while helping injured clients pursue benefits and other available recovery.

Michael earned a J.D. from Georgia State University College of Law in 2003 and a B.S. in Commerce and Business Administration from the University of Alabama in 1997. Before law school, he worked as a client representative with IBM. His business education and legal training provided a foundation for understanding insurance operations, claim evaluation, and the legal issues that later became central to his workers’ compensation and personal injury practice.

Michael spent three years representing employers and insurers at Drew, Eckl & Farnham and then worked for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company for two years. He founded Moebes Law LLC in 2009 and has represented injured workers and veterans since that time. He is active in the National Organization for Veterans Advocates and the Workers’ Injury Law and Advocacy Group. He is a registered neutral with the Georgia Supreme Court and has lectured on legal practice topics.

Michael Moebes has been named a Rising Star and later a Super Lawyer by Georgia Super Lawyers multiple times and has been included among Georgia Trend’s Legal Elite. In 2022, The National Trial Lawyers selected him as a Civil Plaintiff Top 100 Trial Lawyer in Georgia. His practice combines insurance-defense knowledge, workers’ compensation experience, personal injury advocacy, and practical understanding of how insurers evaluate and respond to injury claims.
