Lipsky Award and the Daniels Award in Philosophy of Law. He later earned his J.D. from the University of Idaho College of Law in Moscow. This education built a strong base in legal reasoning, writing, advocacy, and public service, which supports his focused injury practice for local injured clients.

Michael was admitted to the Idaho State Bar and later to the Washington State Bar. He is also admitted to the U.S. District Court for the District of Idaho and is certified by the Idaho Industrial Commission as a Workers’ Compensation Professional. His career includes arguing cases before the Idaho Supreme Court and handling hundreds of proceedings before the Idaho Industrial Commission.
