Michael J. Salvi

Michael J. Salvi is the president of Premier Illinois Injury Lawyers – A Division of Salvi Law, Inc., and a respected trial lawyer with decades of experience handling complex injury and civil litigation. He began his career in 1984, joining the predecessor to today’s firm, and quickly developed a reputation for strong advocacy, deep legal knowledge, and skilled courtroom performance. His practice includes personal injury, medical malpractice, commercial disputes, and other high-stakes matters for clients across Illinois.

Michael earned his J.D. from John Marshall Law School and went on to receive an LL.M. in Trial and Appellate Advocacy from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. He also holds a B.A. from St. Mary’s College. His education and advanced training support his detailed trial preparation, strong legal writing, and ability to simplify complex issues for judges and juries. He is admitted to practice in Illinois, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.

His notable work includes a successful res judicata defense in a major Federal Election Commission lawsuit seeking $1 million in fines, a decision later affirmed on appeal. A published author and frequent lecturer, Michael J. Salvi has written instructional books on jury selection and the direct examination of treating physicians.
