Michael J. DiScipio has dedicated his legal career to representing injured, sick, and disabled individuals. Since 2003, he has focused on helping people obtain the benefits and support they need. His work centers on Social Security Disability cases and advocating for clients facing serious health and financial challenges.
Michael earned his undergraduate degree from the University of New Hampshire in 1998. During his time there, he served as president of his fraternity. He later attended Suffolk University, where he received his Juris Doctor in 2003, preparing him for a career devoted to legal advocacy.
Michael joined the team at Iannella & Mummolo in 2005. He serves as the managing attorney of the firm’s nationwide Social Security Disability department. In this role, he oversees cases from early evaluation through final payment while guiding clients through the complex disability benefits process.
Michael has represented clients in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam, and Canada. He has argued more than 1,500 hearings before Administrative Law Judges, the Appeals Council, and Federal District Courts, demonstrating extensive experience in disability litigation.
Michael also has experience in other areas of injury law. His work has included representing clients in personal injury, workers’ compensation, dangerous drugs, product liability, slip-and-fall cases, mesothelioma claims, and medical malpractice matters affecting injured and vulnerable individuals.
