About
Michael F. Nadolski is a shareholder at Lynn Jackson with work connected to the firm’s Rapid City and Belle Fourche offices. His practice includes commercial litigation, insurance litigation, products liability litigation, trusts and probate litigation, energy and utility matters, and municipal or special district issues. Nadolski handles disputes involving businesses, property, public entities, construction, real estate, probate concerns, and regulatory or local-government questions that require litigation and strategic counseling.
Nadolski earned a B.A. from the University of Iowa in 1991 and received his law degree from the University of South Dakota School of Law in 2001. His legal education supports a practice involving civil litigation, public-law questions, property disputes, and complex legal research. Before and after law school, his public-service experience broadened his understanding of government institutions and the practical issues that arise when private interests intersect with public decision-making.
Nadolski served as a prosecutor and spent 16 years as Chief Civil Deputy for the Lincoln County State’s Attorney’s Office. His government work included substantial exposure to civil matters before he joined Lynn Jackson in 2019. His current practice includes planning and zoning, renewable energy, commercial disputes, construction matters, real estate litigation, and probate disputes. He is admitted in South Dakota state and federal courts and has handled significant municipal and land-use litigation.
Michael F. Nadolski brings long public-sector and private-practice experience to complex disputes. His background as a civil government lawyer informs work involving municipalities, special districts, zoning, infrastructure, utilities, and property rights, while his private practice extends to insurance, products liability, commercial, and probate litigation. He helps clients evaluate legal risk, address procedural requirements, and develop litigation strategies for disputes involving business, government, land, and estate interests.
