Michael D. DiCindio

Michael D. DiCindio is a Pennsylvania criminal defense attorney and former prosecutor based in West Chester. He represents clients throughout Chester County, Montgomery County, Philadelphia, and surrounding communities. His practice at DiCindio Law, LLC includes DUI, domestic violence, drug crimes, homicide, sex offenses, theft, violent crimes, weapons charges, white-collar allegations, criminal appeals, and post-conviction matters. He also draws on prior personal injury litigation experience when advising individuals harmed by another party’s negligence.

Mr. DiCindio graduated cum laude from Moravian College in 2007 with a degree in Business Management. He earned his J.D. cum laude from Widener University School of Law in 2010. During law school, he served as president of the Moe Levine Trial Advocacy Honor Society and research editor for the Widener Law Review. He received the best cross-examination award at the 2009 Buffalo-Niagara National Mock Trial Competition and the James J. Manderino Award for Trial Advocacy.

Mr. DiCindio began his legal career with the Chester County District Attorney’s Office after completing an internship there. As an assistant district attorney, he handled felony and misdemeanor jury trials, bench trials, preliminary hearings, appeals, grand jury proceedings, and post-conviction hearings. His prosecution experience involved cases ranging from DUI, theft, and drug offenses to robbery, rape, attempted homicide, and homicide. In early 2014, he joined a Philadelphia firm handling criminal defense and plaintiff-side personal injury litigation before opening DiCindio Law, LLC later that year.

Michael D. DiCindio is licensed in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and admitted to the US District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He has also served as a trial team adviser at Widener University School of Law and an adjunct professor at the Widener Law Legal Education Institute. His combined experience as a prosecutor, defense attorney, educator, and civil litigator provides a broad understanding of courtroom strategy and case preparation.
