Michael C. Dalton

Michael C. Dalton is a partner at Dalton & Associates, where he concentrates his practice on complex civil litigation in the Delaware Superior Court, Court of Chancery, and U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware. He represents both plaintiffs and defendants in personal injury, medical malpractice, and corporate litigation.

Michael earned his Juris Doctor magna cum laude from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law in 2016, graduating in the top 10% of his class and earning membership in the Order of the Coif. He also served as the Villanova Law Review’s articles editor. He holds a B.A. in Early European History from Dickinson College, where he minored in Italian.

Michael’s legal career includes experience as a judicial intern for Judge Gerald A. McHugh in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and as a law clerk in the Delaware Department of Justice. Following law school, Michael served as a judicial law clerk to Judge Vivian L. Medinilla of the Delaware Superior Court, assisting in both civil and criminal case matters.

Since joining Dalton & Associates as an associate and now partner, Michael has built a strong practice litigating high-stakes disputes in areas ranging from business and corporate conflicts to medical malpractice claims. He is known for his strategic insight and dedication to client advocacy in both trial and settlement contexts.
