Michael A. Hauck

Michael A. Hauck is a senior attorney at Boyce Law Firm LLP in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He joined the firm in 2025 and focuses on business transactions, real estate, and creditors’ rights. He advises individuals, developers, lenders, and business owners about property transactions, financing, leases, and commercial arrangements. His work draws on experience practicing law and managing real estate and other business operations.

Michael earned a J.D. from Hamline University School of Law in 1989, graduating first in his class and receiving the M. Arnold Lyons Award for academic performance. He previously earned a B.S. in Business Administration, with a major in Accounting, from the University of South Dakota. His academic background in accounting and law supports his approach to financing, transactional documents, and legal issues involving business assets.

He began his career in business law and later worked in commercial litigation. Michael co-founded a law firm, helped establish a Sioux Falls office for another South Dakota firm, and became vice president and chief operating officer of a commercial real estate brokerage. He later formed his own brokerage and participated in investment groups acquiring income-producing property and developing multifamily housing in South Dakota communities.

Michael is licensed as a South Dakota attorney and real estate broker. His civic involvement includes service with Affordable Housing Solutions, Active Generations, and business and real estate organizations in the Sioux Falls area. These roles complement his experience negotiating property and business matters from both legal and operational perspectives. Michael A.
