Michael A. Brady

Michael A. Brady is a highly respected trial lawyer with decades of experience in litigation and mediation. Mr. Brady earned his J.D. cum laude from Cornell University in 1975. Before that, he completed his B.S. from Le Moyne College in 1970. His strong academic background laid the foundation for his distinguished legal career.

Mr. Brady launched his legal career as a law clerk to Chief Judge John T. Curtin in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York, gaining invaluable federal court experience. He went on to work as a litigation associate at Hodgson Russ LLP, then advanced to Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Western District of New York, where he led the Criminal Division. He later served as a litigation partner at Moot & Sprague before co-founding his own law firm, bringing together extensive trial, appellate, and federal prosecution experience.

Mr. Brady has been recognized for his work in high-profile cases throughout his career. The Attorney General of the United States honored him for his role in bank fraud prosecutions. Additionally, he served as a Special Prosecutor in federal court, handling contempt citations. His work has earned recognition from Best Lawyers in America, Super Lawyers, Business First’s Who’s Who in Law, and more.

Since 2006, Michael A. Brady has been an active mediator in the Western District of New York’s Mediation Program, successfully mediating nearly 400 cases. His expertise in resolving legal disputes has made him a sought-after mediator and arbitrator for both federal and state court matters.
