After experiencing the profound loss of her first child, Merlaine took time away from her legal career to reflect and heal. This deeply personal experience strengthened her empathy and reinforced her commitment to helping others navigate life’s challenges with understanding and compassion.

Merlaine focuses her practice on estate planning services, including customized estate plans, trusts, wills, and Medicaid planning. She works with families to develop proactive strategies that help protect loved ones and reduce the risk of costly disputes in the future.
