Melissa N. Engle

Melissa N. Engle is a partner and accomplished attorney whose practice focuses on real estate, business, and employment law. With a strong background in both litigation and transactional work, she represents clients in disputes involving contracts, partnerships, leases, wrongful termination, discrimination, and intellectual property issues. Melissa earned her J.D. from California Western School of Law, where she co-founded the Intellectual Property, Technology & Telecommunications Clinic and received the Andrea Johnson Telecommunications Award. She earned her B.A. in History from the University of California, Los Angeles. She is admitted to practice in California and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Central, and Northern Districts of California. Her academic achievements and professional dedication have established her as a respected voice in the legal community.

Before joining White and Bright, LLP, Melissa practiced at boutique litigation firms in San Diego, where she handled civil, employment, and intellectual property cases. She began her career working on personal injury and bankruptcy matters, gaining a wide range of experience that informs her multidisciplinary approach today. In addition to her active litigation practice, she advises small businesses on vendor contracts, commercial leases, employment policies, licensing, and corporate formation.
