Melissa M. Ruvolo

Melissa M. Ruvolo is a New Jersey family law attorney, a partner and co-owner at Family Focused Legal Solutions who represents clients in all stages of family law litigation and settlement negotiations. She handles divorce, custody, parenting time, support, and other matrimonial matters. She also serves as a family law mediator, Collaborative Divorce attorney, and Guardian ad Litem. Her approach emphasizes strategy, collaboration, preparation, and helping clients understand their options while navigating difficult family transitions and important legal decisions.

Melissa earned her J.D., with honors, from Rutgers School of Law – Camden, where she was Marketing and Public Relations Editor of the Rutgers Journal of Law and Public Policy. She earned her B.A. from The College of New Jersey, majoring in Business Marketing with a minor in Law and Justice. She was admitted to practice in New Jersey and the US District Court for the District of New Jersey in 2006, and the US Supreme Court in 2019.

Melissa is certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as an Attorney in Matrimonial Law. She is also a Qualified Family Law Mediator and Qualified Collaborative Family Law Attorney. Her practice includes litigation, negotiation, mediation, and collaborative resolution, allowing her to address family disputes through approaches based on the needs of each matter. She also receives court appointments as a Guardian ad Litem in cases involving children and family concerns.
