Meg Stacy

Meg Stacy is an attorney at Southpark Family Law in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she devotes her practice to family law. She represents clients in divorce, child custody and support, mediation, collaborative divorce, guardianship, adoption, name changes, and paternity and legitimation matters. Stacy works with individuals and families throughout Mecklenburg, Iredell, and surrounding counties, helping them address sensitive legal issues involving relationships, parenting responsibilities, and important family transitions.

Stacy earned her J.D., cum laude, from North Carolina Central School of Law and a B.A. in Classical Languages with a concentration in Latin from Sewanee: The University of the South. During law school, she served as an editor of the North Carolina Central Law Review and completed clerkships with the North Carolina Court of Appeals, Wake Family Court, and a private law firm. She also represented clients through the Family Law and Low-Income Taxpayer clinics.

Before joining Southpark Family Law in 2022, Stacy began her domestic law practice with Judith Daly and spent six years practicing family law with Daly Mills Family Law in Iredell County and surrounding communities. Her experience includes representing clients in contested and negotiated family matters and helping families evaluate options outside traditional litigation. She regularly mediates domestic disputes and is certified by the North Carolina Dispute Resolution Commission to mediate Family Financial Settlement Conferences.

Meg Stacy is admitted to practice in North Carolina and is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association and Mecklenburg County Bar. Her background in family law litigation and mediation allows her to approach disputes from several perspectives, whether clients are pursuing negotiated agreements or preparing for court proceedings. Stacy focuses on helping clients understand their legal options, address financial and parenting concerns, and work toward practical resolutions during significant family changes.
