Meagan Moore is a dedicated environmental counsel with a strong focus on regulatory compliance, environmental litigation, and managing environmental liabilities during transactions. She approaches every case with careful analysis to fully understand the issues and delivers strategic, practical solutions that help clients achieve the best possible outcomes.
Meagan holds a Bachelor of Science from Ohio University (2002) and earned her Honors B.S.B.A. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 2005. Her education laid a strong foundation for her to handle complex environmental challenges with clarity and precision.
Over her career, Meagan has advised industrial, real estate, and municipal clients on environmental, health, and safety regulations, both within the United States and internationally. She has helped clients navigate compliance audits, permitting processes, and enforcement actions. She also works closely with government agencies to reduce or eliminate penalties and secure favorable settlements.
Meagan’s litigation experience includes defending clients in CERCLA contribution cases and regulatory disputes involving hazardous waste and wastewater discharges. She has represented companies before the Environmental Appeals Board and in state proceedings, effectively minimizing legal exposure and financial penalties.
Meagan Moore has also guided public and private entities through environmental risk transfers in purchase agreements and supported community projects such as installing wind turbines and developing waste facilities. Her counsel has helped clients secure environmental grants and successfully navigate programs like Ohio’s Voluntary Action Program.
