Mazyar M. Hedayat

Mazyar M. Hedayat is an Illinois attorney with more than 25 years of legal experience. His practice covers business law, business litigation, real estate litigation, construction litigation, business bankruptcy, mortgage foreclosure, real estate, and estate and probate matters. He is also a licensed title agent. Earlier in his career, he held business broker and securities licenses, adding to his professional background in business and finance.

Mazyar studied at the University of Chicago from 1983 to 1984. He earned a B.A. with Distinction in Philosophy from the University of Michigan, where he studied from 1984 to 1987. He later earned an MBA in Finance and Corporate Strategy from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business. In 1995, he received his Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago, Illinois.

At the DuPage County Bar Association, he chaired the Bankruptcy Law, Business Law and Practice, and Law Practice Management committees. He also edited the DCBA Brief and served on the Court Advisory Committee for E-Filing.

Mazyar M. Hedayat began as an independent associate attorney at the Law Office of R.M. Dreger, P.C., in Chicago from 1995 to 1997. He then practiced on his own in Naperville from 1997 to 2002. He worked on the internet start-up eLawCentral, LLC, and became president of M. Hedayat & Associates, P.C., in 2002. He also led Aegis Title Services, Inc., from 2004 to 2010.
