Matthew earned his bachelor’s degree in Criminology from the University of La Verne. He then completed his Juris Doctor at the University of Tulsa College of Law, where he also studied abroad in Geneva, Switzerland. During this time, he focused on international and comparative law and attended United Nations sessions on indigenous rights.
After law school, Matthew clerked at a respected boutique firm in Las Vegas and later practiced in criminal defense, gaming compliance, and land use regulation. He has appeared before the Nevada Gaming Commission, State Gaming Control Board, Clark County Board of Commissioners, and Las Vegas City Council. His experience includes licensing issues for short-term rentals and cannabis operations.
Admitted to the Nevada State Bar and Federal Bar, Matthew Sibert advocates for clients in southern Nevada’s courts and U.S. District Court.
