Matthew L. Dahlstrom is a partner at Leahy Cox, LLP, whose practice focuses on municipal law, business law, criminal prosecution, and family law. He represents individuals, businesses, and public entities while providing practical legal guidance and clear strategies.

Matthew earned his J.D. from the University of Oregon School of Law in Eugene, Oregon in 2015. During law school, he served as Business Editor for the Oregon Review of International Law and was a member of the Moot Court Board.

Matthew completed his undergraduate studies at Washington State University in Pullman, Washington, earning a B.A. in Political Science in 2012. He was also recognized on the Dean’s List during his academic studies.

Before joining Leahy Cox, LLP, Matthew worked as an associate attorney at Gordon, Aylworth & Tami P.C., where he handled creditors’ rights litigation. This experience strengthened his litigation and legal analysis skills.

Matthew also served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable R. Curtis Conover of the Lane County Circuit Court in 2017. His clerkship provided valuable insight into court procedures and judicial decision-making.

Matthew joined Leahy Cox, LLP in January 2018 and later became a partner. His work focuses on helping clients address legal issues involving municipalities, businesses, criminal prosecution matters, and family law concerns.

Matthew L. Dahlstrom is admitted to practice law in Oregon and is an active member of the Oregon State Bar and the Lane County Bar Association.
